About Banff

Many people come here to see the mountains and the animals and yes they are exquisite, but what also exists is a thriving multilayered sub-cultutre. I can recommend 20 sites to give you the ‘canned’ version of this town but I want to share is the artists, the freaks, the intellectuals, the spiritual folk that come here for something, the gamblers, the late night nighters, the construction side of town… where shit happens.. and of course the animals and the mountains

Tony Bloom lives in Canmore, thats just 15 minutes west of Banff. Tony’s marvellous were exhibited at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies several months back. This is a more polished version of the installation and splendid evoking concert he gave ‘playing’ his sculptures… Another great reason to live in the Valley, the work of dedicated artists. Cheers
